Global Cookie & Storage Policy

Last Updated 2026: April 2026 | AramLines Group, Marrakech, Morocco

At AramLines Group, digital transparency and data security are integral to our premium service. This comprehensive Cookie & Storage Policy explains the technical methods we use to securely process your bookings, manage your sessions, and protect your data while you navigate our platform. This document complies with international standards, including the EU ePrivacy Directive, GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

1. What Are Cookies & Web Storage?

Cookies are tiny text files placed on your device by a website. Web Storage (Local Storage and Session Storage) are more modern, secure mechanisms that allow web applications to store data directly in your browser. At AramLines, we rely heavily on advanced, secure storage rather than outdated tracking cookies to ensure your experience is safe and seamless.

2. Zero Marketing & Tracking

Unlike most online platforms, we do not use marketing, advertising, or profiling cookies. We do not use the Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics Retargeting, or any third-party ad trackers. We never track your behavior across other websites, and we never sell your browsing habits to data brokers. Our platform is strictly designed for booking premium transport securely.

3. Server-Side Data Processing

To provide maximum security during your multi-step booking process, we do not store your sensitive journey data (like your name, pickup location, or phone number) in your browser. Instead, we use Private Session ID System. Here is how it works:

4. Persistent Logins (Google Firebase Authentication)

If you create a client account with AramLines, you will remain securely logged in even after closing the browser. This is achieved using Secure Authentication Tokens managed by Google Firebase.

5. Temporary Booking Data

When you select a specific vehicle class (e.g., Business Van, SUV, Sedan), we may temporarily save your selection using your browser’s Session Storage. This ensures that if you accidentally refresh the page, your car selection is not lost. Important: Session Storage is entirely volatile and is automatically and permanently deleted the moment you close your browser tab.

6. Third-Party Security: Google reCAPTCHA

To protect our platform and our drivers from automated spam, fraudulent bookings, and malicious bots, we utilize Google reCAPTCHA. This service sets essential security cookies to analyze device hardware and software parameters in the background to distinguish human users from automated bots. These cookies are strictly for security purposes and not for advertising.

7. Third-Party Payments: PayPal Integration

AramLines does not process or store credit card numbers. All payments are executed via PayPal. When you proceed to checkout, PayPal’s integrated system will set strictly necessary security cookies to:

You can review their strict policies here: PayPal Cookie Policy.

8. The Legal Exemption from "Cookie Consent Banners"

You may have noticed that our website does not interrupt you with an annoying "Accept All Cookies" banner. This is entirely legal and intentional. Under Article 5.3 of the EU ePrivacy Directive (and corresponding UK/US laws), websites are exempt from obtaining user consent for cookies and storage technologies that are "Strictly Necessary" to provide an explicitly requested service. Because we only use storage for cart processing, secure PHP sessions, anti-fraud (PayPal), and user logins (Firebase)—and ZERO advertising tracking—we operate under this legal exemption.

9. Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) Tokens

Security is paramount. We employ CSRF tokens, which are temporary, strictly necessary cookies designed solely to prevent malicious websites from executing unauthorized actions on your AramLines account. This ensures that every booking request genuinely originates from you.

10. Performance and Load Balancing Cookies

In periods of high traffic, our hosting infrastructure may utilize temporary routing cookies. These ensure that your connection remains stable by routing your browser requests to the same server throughout your booking session, preventing data loss.

11. Handling "Do Not Track" (DNT) Signals

Many web browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. Because AramLines does not use behavioral tracking, retargeting pixels, or third-party marketing cookies under any circumstances, our platform naturally complies with the highest standards of DNT requests by default. We track nothing.

12. Local Storage vs. Cookies: A Technical Distinction

For transparency, we emphasize that we prefer using HTML5 Local Storage over traditional Cookies whenever possible. Local Storage data is never automatically transmitted to the server with every HTTP request (unlike traditional cookies), which significantly reduces bandwidth usage and heavily mitigates the risk of data interception over public Wi-Fi networks.

13. Managing and Deleting Cookies in Your Browser

Although our cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function, you maintain ultimate control over your device. You can choose to block or delete all cookies and local storage data via your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Instructions can typically be found in the "Privacy & Security" section of your browser.

14. The Impact of Disabling Essential Storage

If you choose to configure your browser to block all cookies and local storage, please be aware that you will not be able to book a ride with AramLines. Blocking Session IDs System will prevent our server from securely passing your booking data to the checkout page, and blocking Firebase storage will prevent you from logging into your account.

15. Data Expiration & Lifespan

We ensure that no data sits on your device longer than necessary:

16. Protection of Minors

Our platform is designed exclusively for adults seeking premium transport. We do not design any part of our website, nor do we deploy any storage technologies, aimed at tracking or profiling children under the age of 18.

17. International Jurisdictions

While our technical servers operate securely to facilitate services in Morocco, this policy protects international users. Regardless of whether you are accessing our site from the US, UK, EU, or Asia, you are guaranteed an ad-free, track-free, highly secure browsing experience governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco.

18. Regular Security Audits

We routinely audit our platform's source code and storage usage to ensure no third-party scripts (such as external fonts or CDNs) are silently injecting non-essential tracking cookies into your browser without our knowledge or your consent.

19. Policy Modifications

As web technologies and global privacy laws evolve, AramLines Group reserves the right to update this Cookie & Storage Policy. Any technical changes in how we handle session data will be reflected on this page, with the "Last Updated" date revised accordingly.
